How's the food? If a dish was “excellent”, be sure to describe why. What were the flavors, textures and appearance? Carefully select some impactful adjectives for your descriptions: too few will leave your writing dull and too many will bog it down. A literature review configures your project and positions it in relation to substantive research. It also provides evidence that you can return to later to help interpret your own results.
When starting with the literature review, it's helpful to know what role this plays in the overall project. A good food review places the reader at your table with you, allowing them to decide if they want to visit the restaurant or not when they finish reading.
